A translation service built around people

Globolingua connects people who need something translated with linguists who can actually do it, and keeps the process simple enough that you always know what you are paying for.

How we work

A professional reads every job
Your text is assigned to a linguist rather than dropped into a queue, and the finished work goes through a quality check before it is sent back to you.
One price, agreed first
The per-word rate and the delivery time are on screen before you order, and they do not move afterwards. Work starts once the order is paid.
Your text stays private
Files go to the assigned linguist and the staff needed to deliver the job, everyone involved is bound by confidentiality, and documents are deleted a year after completion.
Problems get fixed
If a translation misses the mark, write to us within seven days with the order reference and we correct it rather than debate it.

Every job goes to someone who knows the subject

A contract, a clinical summary and a product page each need a different kind of reader. We match your text to a linguist who works in that field, in that language pair. Translators join us through a test assignment, and their finished work stays under our internal quality assessment afterwards.

  • Selected on a test assignment
  • Subject-matter matched
  • Checked before delivery

Careful work is slower to make and easier to trust

A person reading with judgement will always catch what a literal swap misses: the clause that changes meaning, the term your industry actually uses, the sentence that reads wrong out loud.

Translate with us

If you are a professional linguist, you can apply to take paid work through our dashboard. Tell us your pairs and your subject areas, and we review your application and a test assignment before assigning anything.

  • Choose the jobs that fit your pairs and your schedule
  • Per-word rates are visible before you accept a job
  • Work with subject areas you already know well
  • Payouts and invoices are handled in the dashboard
